It's all about time zones, every time. When the Eastern results and predictions come in, it will skew in favor of the leader out West. I don't think Texas is West enough.

Maybe Clinton could buy a pig farm, call it a ranch and then post videos of her clearing brush...oh wait, it's already been done.

I think Georgia is closer to going purple than Texas. Depends on the underpolled Latino vote in Texas and how much they show at the polls.

agreed, and the numbers back that. My favorite scenario is if McMuffin takes Utah from Trump.

Most of those never bothered to get their citizenship until now. I know of 22 people on my block alone who became citizens (were green card holders before) but they are now citizens and plan to vote for Hillary just because they feel threatened by the anti-immigration sentiment.

Its not just 1 demographic like latino.. they're chinese, vietnamese, filipino, sikh and El Salvadorean. All speak different languages, but they're united against Trump.

I don't think one of them has ever been polled/ surveyed.. they're too busy working minimum wage.

It can't just be my neighborhood. it has to be others as well.

She ain't winning Texas this year, but the blue hue is far earlier than anyone would have predicted, Trump or no Trump.

As far as I can remember going from green card to citizenship takes almost a year. When did those people started the process? After Trump was nominated? If so, I don't see how they would be already a citizen now.

There were stories right around the time Trump made his notorious rapists speech that a lot of Hispanics were flocking to speed up citizenship so they could vote.

That was 15 months ago.

I don't know if Republicans truly grasp that all minorities of every type are feeling incredibly worried about what's coming out of the Trump campaign and its supporters. I don't know how this doesn't hurt the Republican Party for years to come.

There is a realignment brewing. Watch the states to which Californians migrate to in order to find cheaper housing.

Heh, McCain must have chewed his fingernails right down to the roots and nervously plucked out his eyebrows by now.

I don't think McCain likes Trump very much and won't lose any sleep if Clinton wins. OTOH he's closer than usual to his opponent in AZ, so I think he's feeling the down ballot trumpburn right about now. Which probably makes him despise Trump even more.

Agreed.

Don't know the mechanics, but McCain is swearing to block any and all Clinton SCOTUS nominations. Is this a play to lessen the chances of his losing in November?

Yes. He's saying "Okay deplorables, I don't like you and you don't like me. But the writing is on the wall, Clinton will win the election. The only question for you is, do you want 51 Republican Senators that can block SCOTUS nominations, or not?"

How about this not-completely-improbable scenario in which McMullin actually wins the Presidency simply by winning one state: Utah?

http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/how-evan-mcmullin-could-win-utah-and-the-presidency/

(This depends on Hilary losing certain swing states to Trump which are pretty much a lock for her now, but still strange)

Pure Election Pr0n, however its an interesting thought. Would be even funnier if Hillary became the VP.
After that we could all say hello to the direct vote. People would be pissed
