it is a rebate for each item, so it really isn't all on "one" item

Exactly! That's actually good news because you can buy only *some* on the items, and send rebates for those only. I just did this at B&M, and was glad I didn't have to buy the whole shebang. I got free starter kit, free earphones and free case, since I'm getting a GBA SP for the kid for Christmas.
Now if only I could find FAR GAMES for the GBA.

They are all MFR so you can just fill out the forms and send it to the same place with 1 upc rather than making copies and using diff envolopes...couldn't you?

each has it's own form, I got the GC Bundle thing, 8 Rebates, all to the same place. But will need to mail them in 8 envolopes....

They all ask for the original UPC code. But, they all get shipped to the same place, but of course different offer numbers. It's interesting.

that's just ridiculous... this rebate thing has gone too far...

and while we're on the subject, whaat is the legality of rebates coming significantly later than the rebate form says it should take? like if it says it'll take 6-8 weeks and doesn't arrive for 12 weeks or more... seems all too common now...

I think the most rebates for a single purchase still goes to the Dell Dimension 8250 EPP/FSS last year: 5 rebates that totalled $610 + a bonus rebate if you bought a longer warranty. I didn't order a longer warranty and I received 4 of the 5 rebates ($510).

The rebates were:
Holidays
Early bird
Memory or rebate
HD or rebate
8250 System
Warranty
