Im sure a stage 1 PT can own a stock WRX. Definately not an evo or sti.

I don't care how fast a PT cruiser is, it's ugly as f*ck. I'd drive a 92 civic before I drove a POS like that.

All wheel drive (while advantageous on starts and bad adherence) "consumes" more of the engine's power. Also, the gear ratios in different speeds might play a role (a lower max speed will help in obtaining higher accelerations)

While I don't like the PT Cruiser, I know that its just as much a gokart on steroids as a WRX is.
