That is sad. $200 for that POS. Thank god we have AMD around or that "Sillyron" wouldn't be too silly.

This might be something funny to consider -

the yeilds on the 800 MHz Pentium III are too good, and there aren't enough bad ones to make 800 MHz Celeries. Thus, the supply of 800 MHz Celerons is low and the price is higher. :D

Probably not true but interesting to think about!

Yeah only by +$3-5avg according to pricewatch. And a Duron is much closer to a T-Birds performance than a Celeron is to a P3's. Also a Retail Tbird 850 costs more than a retail Duron 850.
