I was sitting close to my dual LCD monitors here at work and one of the old programmers here walked in and suggested I move back because of radiation.
What a damn n00b!
He must have grown up in the 60's with all the radiation scare.

Odds are your underwear will no longer be clean if you're in an accident big enough to worry about your friggin underwear!

rads? no. Eye damage due to light that close? yes

The light eminating from your LCD will damage your eyes over time. In less time than the rads you get from your cell phone.

In a segment, John Stossel proved that to be false. They might make your eyes feel tired, but staring at a monitor will not hurt your eyes.
