So I was at my mom's this weekend and she shows me this camera my uncle got suckered into buying in a gas station parking lot. She didn't say how much he paid(he wouldn't tell her) but the "Sony" tag claimed it was 899 This thing is so fake looking and generic, especially the box. He couldn't get it to work so he had her give it to me to see if I can get it to do anything.


Moral of the story..do not buy electronics in a parking lot

What is up with plastic window in the LCD viewfinder, or is that the LCD viewfinder? I am assuming the latter, which actually make it a really high resolution, but the lack of backlight could be a problem...

There is a window to look through,and the battery box looks like shape of a lithium battery, but you pop it open and two AA's go in there!
