LOL @ MS Security Patches

I can't be mad anymore, I'm just laughing cause it's just TOO funny. I was looking through updates and security patches on the MS site and I found quite a few that interested me. Now the funny stuff, one of those patches makes Counter-Strike generate an error everytime it's shut down. It's not that bad really, so I didn't bother unistalling anything. Then I tried playing a bit of Starcraft. Everything is fine, untill you try to quit the game, you are out of luck there. The game will stay open in the taskbar and will refuse to close. End Task doesn't work. Right click -> close will only bring up the End Task dialogue again. It will NEVER go away. You can try to restart, but you can't do that either because it's waiting for the End Task dialogue to actually end the tast, lol! If you leave it in the task bar long enough you will end up with a blue screen of death saying that the application locked pages that it shouldn't have.

Oh and if you think that you can uninstall the patches and make the problem go away you are so wrong. I unistalled everything that came up in the Add/Remove Programs dialogue but neither of the two problems went away. Ahahahaha this is too funny.

MrGrim,

What OS are you running?

I havent had any problems with Starcraft.. but have had that happen before.. but never everytime, and it was ages ago with Win98.

Ah.. i see.

I will install the security patch on my Win2K pro and see if that also happens to me.. will let you know in a few days.
