Let's see. From Wikipedia:

Her first album was double-platinum as of December, 2003. Her second album was quintuple platinum as of Jan, 2006. On top of that:

However, the single releases from Breakaway proved very successful, and allowed it to become only the fourth album in history to stay in the Billboard 200 Top 20 for a consecutive year, as well as, being certified five-times platinum in the U.S. on January 18, 2006

Throw in 2 Grammy Awards with that.

But I guess she's still a pseudo celebrity, right?

Moving on:

But if she's a pseudo celebrity, how does she have millions of fans and people that think she's their idol? Good job contradicting yourself.

And of course it matters. As much as you want to make out that celebrities are super-human, they're not. That doesn't change because she has fans, or because she's popular, or for any reason.

another point is the fact that before she was famous, she would have swore upon whatever she believes in most that she wouldn't be on of "those" celebrities that do such atrocious things...but here we are after the fact, and there she is regardless.

And you know this how? Seems to me like you have a stalker-fetish complex with Clarkson. What happened, she didn't respond to the fan-mail where you included pictures of yourself dressed up in drag?

Win? You didn't win anything. Sh!t kid, you never even stood a chance.

Yes, she is a pseudo celebrity. It doesn't mean that she's not a celebrity. Here she is, compared.

LOS ANGELES (AP) ? U.S. album sales were down about 7% as 2005 drew to a close. The top three best-selling albums of 2005 through Dec. 21 were rapper 50 Cent's The Massacre, which had sold 4.8 million copies, followed by Mariah Carey's The Emancipation of Mimi with 4.6 million sold, and Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway, which sold 3.3 million units, Nielsen SoundScan said.

Um, just about anyone can have idols. Especially unsuspecting 13 year olds who don't know their heads from their asses. Thats not contradicting. Learn what the word means.

I never said she had superhuman powers but she does have superhuman influence with the widespread coverage she has on multiple channels of media. That does matter with how popular you are.

And you know this how? Seems to me like you have a stalker-fetish complex with Clarkson. What happened, she didn't respond to the fan-mail where you included pictures of yourself dressed up in drag?

I wouldn't know that. But that's why I included the word "probably". READ.

so you think that all singers out there are angels?

no, but i didn't think they were dvmb@sses like that. especially ones that are pseudo celebrities that were normal for a larger part of their lives...

I'm sure they really give a damn if you think they're a dumbass or not.

what the heck does that have to do with anything? i could care less if they do or not. if you're gonna start something, atleast make it relevant.

Here's some news for you:

Ordinary people get up and sing kareokee, get drunk, and do stupid things too. If anything, the fact that she was once a "normal person" would contribute to this behavior.

Pseudo celebrities? She's one of the hottest singers in the US.

yes she is a pseudo celebrity, look at her album sales. just because you have a festish for her doesn't change that. yes ordinary people do get drunk and do stupid things, but for the most part they aren't idols to millions of younger kids, nor influence them. so for ordinary folks, it doesn't matter...you're once again making an irrelevant analogy.

Wow, you're about the biggest tool there is. I've never been a fan of hers, never cared for her music, but that video HUMANIZED her to me. She's a real person who likes to go to shows, drink, play around, and not worry about her media image like some fake person "celebrity."

how am i a tool, that humanized her to you? i am surprised as to what low standards of the definition of humanize you have. why not stare at her taking a dump, according to your standards it might humanize her even more for you. what lame standards....

just because she doesn't get on stage and act like dvmbass doesn't equal to an extreme of her acting like "fake" celebrity...i think just talking franky cn do that.

don't bend to extremes at your benefit to defend your weak position.

She was having fun, you know... fun... right... ? Well, considering your posts, you probably don't have much fun.

I never said she had superhuman powers but she does have superhuman influence with the widespread coverage she has on multiple channels of media. That does matter with how popular you are.

So what in your book qualifies someone as a celebrity? Let's see, again from Wikipedia:
Clarkson appeared on numerous television programs during the promotional tour for Breakaway, some of which included Saturday Night Live, The Oprah Winfrey Show and The View; she performed the first two singles "Breakaway" and "Since U Been Gone" on Saturday Night Live, which became her first major telecast appearance in order to support the album.

So TV shows, most popular album in the US, quintuple platinum, Grammy Awards. Been around for 4-years+ and still going pretty strong. Please tell me your definition of a real celebrity vs. a pseudo celebrity. I mean of course, now you're just going to change it to fit whatever agenda you have, but please go ahead and elaborate. You might want to look up the definition of pseudo while you're at it.

And you know this how? Seems to me like you have a stalker-fetish complex with Clarkson. What happened, she didn't respond to the fan-mail where you included pictures of yourself dressed up in drag?

I wouldn't know that. But that's why I included the word "probably". READ.

Again, how can you even say this is what was probably the case? Simply put, you're full of sh!t.

You guys should stop replying to postertard's posts. It's pretty obvious he's a complete fool... no need to fan the flames. ;)

LOL posterboy is getting owned, hes probably not going to post again.

Who is saying she was drunk though? I mean, she was having a beer and she did have some whiskey but she had no slurred speech, no difficulty walking, and she didn't flash the crowd, meaning most of her inhibitions were still there. Maybe that was her 2nd beer and 1 shot, who is drunk off that? Seems to me like she maybe was buzzed and having a great time. I thought it rocked, nothing wrong with someone over 21 doing some drinking as long as they aren't drinking too much or driving after drinking too much.

God forbid people try to have some fun in their life.

I agree that the video made her look more like an "average person" than a dumbass celebrity and I definitely agree she's VERY good looking. She was just having a good time, nothing wrong with that.

Pretty good. She automatically sang higher but in the same key as the Metal Skool singer...harmonized really well. With no rehearsal.

She can definitely sing.

That guy from yellowcard is such a jackass, inviting himself up there when nobody wanted to see him, and then butchering everything. He mauled that stuff at the beginning so bad that it was throwing Kelly off. Nobody could hope to match a pitch with a donkey braying on stage like that.

At least nobody up there knew his name
