I normally hate anything to do with americal idol (although I have nothing but sympathy for the latest winner considering how Ford has raped his image to sell trucks), but she's actually got a great voice and a slammin body.

Not everyone gets constantly sucked into the latest fads. I've heard of Kelly Clarkson (although I couldn't name a single song she's done) but I didn't know she was on AI. I think I've seen AI twice. Both times I got bored and changed the channel.
It has more to do with having a life than living it under a rock.

What Kelly Clarkson did wasn't bad....
Just to give you an example, Britney Spears helped me lose most of my interest in the POP industry.
Takes quite a bit of talent in order to accomplish that, but she succeeeded.
So Kelly Clarkson is drunk..big whoop. At least she doesn't lie about things

i agree with you that it wasn't as drastic as other idiotic things that celebrities have done, but it's still pretty damn dumb.
we all live once. i'm sure she had a blast during that concert. Her manager might not be entirely pleased with her behavior, but she's got a right to live her life the way she chooses.

another point is the fact that before she was famous, she would have swore upon whatever she believes in most that she wouldn't be on of "those" celebrities that do such atrocious things...but here we are after the fact, and there she is regardless.
