I noticed Windows 7 beta on some torrent sites. I heard Leo Laporte and Paul Thurrott talking extensively about the beta on Windows Weekly and This Week in Tech podcasts, seems interesting. This build is apparently very stable and Thurrott claims it feels like a "beta 2".

Netbooks would say ATOM Processor or something else. They are also like 1.6GHz+

Netbooks would say ATOM Processor or something else. They are also like 1.6GHz+

Plus, won't most say Vista requires 2GB to run well? I would imagine Windows 7 is similar, given how cheap 2GB of RAM is nowadays...

Windows 7 has a smaller memory footprint than Vista. Guess I was wrong about the specs, been a while since I bought a computer.
