Reply pretending to be your agent like you're some semi-famous male model. Offer to make plans but require a $500 interview fee, etc.

Oh I agree totally, hence the thread. ;) I'm kinda wondering if this is an attempt to trap me into a contract to take gay pr0nz pics or something.

From this:
we will mail a payment of $3000 to you,$1000 for you and $2000 for the photographer.
I would assume it's the same old scam.
Just replace the word photographer with "transfer agent" or something else nigerian-scam like.
You get the payment, cash it, and send money somewhere else. Then you get screwed when it's not a real check/MO, etc.

I can't really think of anything witty/funny to do to them, plus it would most likely be a waste of time anyway.

Not until Soundmanred's post. I am fairly insulated from the seedier side of the internet by participating mainly in the AT H&F forum and browsing mainly fitness related sites (slowtwitch.com, ontri, and the like). I left the geekier side of computing a few years back.

Funny coincidence, I got an email "from Myspace". Here's the actual message:

ANDREW responded to your comment on a photo:

Where can i have some of these made up at ?

I haven't used Myspace since I don't know when, and I was never in the habit of commenting on photos.

Glad you posted so the geeks here can point out the errors of your thinking. :)

As soon as I read it I saw the twist on the Nigerian scam.

Sad thing is that it's still working or otherwise it wouldn't even exist anymore.
