Depends what you mean by exciting, and to be honest, I don't get out much , but I'd recommend going to river square cinema/mall or whatever it is, should be fun. Also maybe check Big Easy concert house and Nightclub: 919 W Sprague, Spokane

i have to go to the Harley Motorcycle dealership there to do a bid for installing some tv's. any place you'd recommend to grab something to eat? breakfast or lunch?

If you take Trent eastward and make a right on Argonne, you can follow it for a ways and find Longhorn BBQ Restaurant on your right. It's got pretty good eats.
