while i understand being a "nice guy" is all fine and dandy there is a limit. for those that do it as a hobby, fine whatever do what you want in terms of being nice but dont take on a job that is too demanding of you and ask a forum how to help out with setting up a grade school's network that really should require more than just a hobbyist to set up. If it is a professional job, leave it to a professional. i've seen too many muck ups by hobbyists that were in well over their head.
For those of us in the industry that make a living off of it, shame on you if you do it for free. you are in fact working yourself out of a job as well as the rest of us in the profession. only time i make an exception is blood relatives, and even that gets minimal time before i charge.
As for OP, that is a shitty customer as well as a shitty person.
