Yeah there was a guy in the right seat, you could see him when the cop got back in at the end. As for the search as I understand it they are now allowed to search your person any time they stop you if they want "for their safety". Your vehicle is a different matter unless there is something in plain view or they bring a dog and it hits on something from the outside.

Calm down people. Guy is just doing his job. We don't even know what he saw or why he was there. All he did was investigated and went on his way. Not every stop is a criminal. They actually catch a lot of criminals while doing other things or looking for other people though. She's in the middle of the Desert. For all he knew she's an illegal alien, drug running, burying a body out there, who knows. It's not like he beat the hell out of her or something.
