WinXP: the software most often cracked by people who legitimately own it.

I got a copy of Office2k that I've never used because of activation. It just made me look for alternatives, currently I'm checking out OpenOffice and comparing that to 602Office Suite (I liked 602 better than MS)

i have installed Office 2k and Xp on a bunch of systems and NEVER had to activate anything. ive actually never seen or heard of activating Office. i just put the key in when it installs and all if fine

and this is with Office2k and XP both PRO versions

Corporate Key is not so great if you are installing Service Pack 1. I tried doing Service Pack 1 on my laptop and after it analyzed my computer it said that my product key was invalid and to call their Piracy line if I believed I was sold a pirated copy. I reverted my laptop from XP Professional back to the WinXP home copy that came with the laptop.

I didn't have a problem with service pack 1 on my XP coporate installation. Of course I did not use Dell's FCKGW key either.

Exactly, just use a keygen and get your own key.
