Sweet irony. Not as anyone is actually going to head to Yahoo, though. If that's one thing Gmail has in it's favor, is that it's not really competing with any other service directly for NEW users. They are just trying to take away users from other services.

mine didn't either. even after i subscribed it to a relatively high volume (yet non-english language) list for more than a month. but it catches up after a while. apparently, it really is context sensitive to the words in your e-mail.

I've got a yahoo account and a gmail account, and I actually prefer yahoo hands down. I guess the interface is just more familiar.

I don't either depending on the email. Most of the emails I get don't generate ads but some do.
