watching Oprah right now 'cause Jordan is there.... and Barkley joins. And they start talking about golf. Jordan starts making jokes about Barkley's swing. I thought he was exaggerating about how bad it is, but man... this is just horrible...

Yep, fat Charlie's swing isn't even a swing. It's an abberation of nature.

Makes no sense that someone with good athletic ability would have a swing like that.

Jordan said he used to be really good.. used to shoot like 75,76,77... but barkley was like "something happened.".. He said he went to the best coaches and even got some instructions from Tiger Woods, but he still cant get that swing out of him. Jordan was like he swings normally at the driving range and when he takes his practice swing. But when its time to hit the ball he swings like that. jordan said ever since he started to swing like that, he couldnt play with him anymore cause he was so bad..lol

ever see a baseball player's swing...it's something like that too.....seems the two swings require totally different training.....oddly enough, golf swings are more in similarity to bowling form than baseball swings.....

golf/bowling: no choking necessary, just good form and followthrough
baseball: requires more brute strength and speed

I have seen his swing in person, twice. He plays in the celebrity tournament during the Brunos Memorial Classic here in B'ham. Me and another volunteer were working near the 6th hole and we both got a good laugh when we saw him tee off. Surprised he didn't go tumbling down the hill.
