Lol @ British conservatives winning the Dec 2019 elections. They're still stuck with the albatross of BritExit

it's much like the Republicans in the USA surprisingly winning Pres and both houses of Congress in 2016 and were faced with the albatross on how to replace Obamacare. (it's almost 2020 and they still haven't passed a replacement.)

Cant wait to see what Prime Minister Boris and his conservatives do now

I imagine they will take cues from the Republicans - do something shitty and then lie about it.

It is better to be in power with problems than out of power with the same problems. To transmongrify a quote:

"I've won elections and I've lost elections and let me tell you, winning is better."

UK folks
What is your take on Staying vs leaving the EU?
How accurate would you say this article is?

So far, the only input I've gotten are from
1. Old people who have romanticized the 60's as "Peak Britain" (When they were teenagers). They seem to be more caught up in the whole issue of the invasion of brown people and eastern europeans.
2. Financial folk whose bottom line will be impacted.

60s Britain, seriously? When young Brits were emigrating to the U.S. as fast as the planes could load? People are forgetful.

My guess would be that they leave the EU. That's what majority wants, that's what the conservatives promised, that's what they've been working on for a couple years, seems like it's time to pull the trigger and see who falls down.
