LOL, all join in please

Ok you may all remeber i said my pal had a old p4 2gig rig with 512MB ddr333 ram and a pos LEADTEK FX 5600 256MB NON ULTRA (DDR2), he moaned about not playing Painkiller well and had to set to 800x600 but FarCry demo was fine (i doubt this very much), as ive sene it gamming.

Ok now he says PK is playing great as he has overclocked gpu from defaults to 485mhz core and above 600mhz memory.

I cant so far find online this cards default clocks but i know for fact a card with no mods and no extra cooling in a bad case cant run that much a overclock LOL.

Please input if you find the default clocks beofre i get back and lets see how much a jump it is to his claimed 480/600+.

I dont think he is liar but he obv isnt doing something correctly if he claim its runs games at this speed, i told him to run 3dmark 2003 not sure he has LOL.

Remember coolbits maxes out at 25% then you need add BART to reg to get another 25%, but who ever gets 25% anyhow, 10-15%max esp standard with no mods. LOL

ADDED, i cant find this cards clock speeds anywhere ven on the manu's site.

I believe default clocks on a Rev 1 card was 325 core and memory was effective 500MHz (250MHz DDR) for the 256MB model.

That sounds about right. Though I have a hard time believing that he got that good of an OC out of a POS 5600NU. I'd like some confirmation on that.

damn sory about typos i sorted now, i just think his head is in clouds and he is wrong.

I told him to bring pc to shop he works in and we try, but he is adiment its correct, he says he did set to sue thse at startupa nd he only has 3d tab in coolbits on his driver, this is little i can do till then but laugh to myself LOL.

YIP, Ive told him to his face also, he is wrong and he must be doing something wrong, he had a degree in pcs but cant do anything outside a classroom IMO, i also tell him this, just what do you say about his claim ?

If he is correct and im wrong i will admit and say "sorry i was wrong" to him

IT isnt meant to be funny, i wanted input as some of you may have had this card, i already got from peeps posting the default clocks of this POS card, which i could find nowhere on www inc the manu's site, so thats a start. 🙂

I ask you a Q to you alone, DO you think the card did that speed and ran for long periods like that, cause i think its not possible.
