Warner Bros has found their Lois Lane. Reliable sources say Kate Bosworth will be Superman's love interest and the Daily Planet's feisty reporter. Also rumored to have screentested: Elisha Cuthbert, Claire Danes and Keri Russell--all believed to have come close to winning the role. Bosworth joins a growing cast of new-comers believed to be Shaun Ashmore as Jimmy Olsen, Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor and Brandon Routh as Superman...

Update: "Stanford", Lex Luthor's sidekick, to be played by Kal Penn.

Lois Lane isn't supposed to be super hot. She's a pushy, in-your-face, career woman trying to make her way in a man's world (I read too much superman before adolescence). Print journalists don't have to be good looking. Superman liked her for her spunk.
