Logitech z640 speakers not working!! HELP

i just hooked up the z640 speakers to my comp, installed the software, and they arent working.... no sound comes out of ANY of the speakers except the center one and all that comes out of there is FUZZ and u can SLIGHTLY hear music i play from winamp in the background.... PLEASE help i need these to work!

make sure you hook them up correctly. make sure digital out isn't on. Also what sound card are you using.

how do i turn off digital out? and im using 5.1 from creative labs
