So, I've recently bought these speakers off eBay. And they sound great in rap, but I've noticed in Rock they have like..No bass, I barely feel the floor shake and the sub is right under my desk where my feet go.. I understand this Sub does not have a Frequency knob, but neither did my old Logitechs(X-530's) and they have bass in areas my Z623's do not..This has been driving me insane, is my Subwoofer defective or something? It sounds crisp and clear in games and in rap so I didn't think so...But, I'm not very good with speakers. My Computer is the Dell XPS 8700 desktop. Drivers are all up to date, it comes with DeLL Audio if anybody knows how to use that properly..(I never could, makes everything sound like junk.) Thanks for any help you guys can offer. Oh, I'm also sadly using Youtube because I do not own CD's, and am not much for pirating. So, if you guys want me to test it in some other way, just let me know.

seems pretty normal for the z623 from a quick google

I would've thought the z623's 7" driver and larger sub would produce more "floor shake" than the sub in the x530, but the newer logitechs just don't quite hold up to the older ones in the bass department.

the floor shake would require low frequency sound at relatively high power. Something you're not likely to find in most youtube videos.
Maybe try playing a game with explosions.

first low frequency bass youtube i could find

Is your subwoofer on the floor?

that person's asking the opposite of what you are, but it should help explain what causes "floor shake"

Ironic, I googled it and never found anything. But, yeah. I suppose it was just the quality of Youtube. Played Max Payne 3 as a tester, the last level to be precise (Grenade launcher dude.) the explosions shook the room at about...I would say 54% bass level. I suppose some songs hit the notes more than others. =/ At least I know it is not my Speakers. Haha, thanks again.
