Logitech z560 problems

I have the logitech z560 speakers & have used them with SB 5.1 & SB Audigy 2 ZS cards. Im thinking its the speakers as every thing was working fine while using the 5.1. Then I started to get pops & fuzz from the speakers. So I put in the ZS to see if that would fix it, but as I had expected, it didn't.

Ive updated the drivers, and if I tap the z560 control pod ever so slightly I can make the system "pop." Any suggestions/comments greatly appreciated. These are still under warranty but Id rather not deal with the hassle. TIA!

Mine has done the exact same thing. All i did to help it, was move my volume up to the 12 oclock position and lower the sound for wave and master volume for now. As long as i dont touch the volume knob from the main Z560 control, no pops. Im looking to replace these with the Z680s soon. I dont know if its a lose connection inside the pod or something on the board.

have you tried swapping the speakers around to see if it's the speaker or the amp thats poppin

also, i had the same problem a while back and it seems it's caused by dust getting into the volume knob

all i do to stop it is turn them off and run the knob up to full and back down a few times, seems to work a treat

Well I switched the speakers the the rear left still makes the pops....so maybe the sub is out or dust. Off to get a can of air...
