Logitech Z540's right front speaker wont work, but not defective.

I am setting up a new system and noticed the other day that there is no sound comming out of the front right speaker. I hooked it up to a cd player just to make sure its not defective and turned the M3D on and all 4 speakers work. I have a Epox 8RDA+ so the built in sound has 4 channel sound and that is how I set it up; it runs all the background speakers w/o the M3D button depressed. However the front right speaker still doesn't work. Any ideas as to the problem?
 
defective mobo................ehhhh.............ill check it out w/ some other speakers........but highly unlikely
