Logitech z2200 speaker problems

For some reason the bass and one speaker quit working. I noticed maybe a week ago there was a slight hum or squeak from the speaker that quit working. Is there a setting that could be turned off or did the set shoot the shit? TIA

Low usage btw maybe 18 mo. old.

How long is the warranty? Logitech honors their warranties pretty good.

I am not sure on the warranty, I did not save the box and doubt I have the receipt. I thought maybe I had turn something off on the settings.

You probably blew a channel, try switching the speakers around to verify whether they're functioning. As far as Windows/media settings, just make sure you have 5.1 selected. My mom has the 2100s, and as I remember setting them up you select bass redirect but try it both w/ and w/o the redirect to see. It could also be a sound card issue, though more likely something in the subwoofer either burned out or a connection came loose inside.
