Logitech Z-680 vs. Klipsch GMX 5.1 for music?

I'm looking at getting a new speaker system for my PC.

I do quite a bit of gaming, so 5.1 is what I'm looking at (as well as the ability to decode Dolby Digital since I'm using an nForce 2 motherboard w/ Soundstorm). So, I'm assuming both the Z-680's and the GMX's will do well with this aspect.

My question is if anybody has a comparison between the two with regards to listening to music? These speakers will also be used a lot for music, so I'm curious to see which performs better in this regard.

Thanks

I prefer the Logi's but it's all in personal taste so I would recommend you go and hear them for side by side comparison @ your local store

The GMX-D's are cheaper than the logi's, go to BB and they have em on clearance for like 250 I think. It's all preference, for me I wouldn't spend that much on computer speakers in the first place.

I'd stay away from the GMX's because they are only digital, from what I've heard you won't be able to utilize all the speakers in analog. I would take the 680's anyday.

I would not recommend the Z680s to anyone. After trying 3 sets of them, they ALL have an annoying hiss when not in use. Very bass heavy - great if you like bass. Wanna buy mine? :(
