Logitech z-640 or z-5300

I know the 5300 are better speakers but...

I can get the 640 for 75 dollars.

I can get the z-5300 for 130 dollars.

Is it worth 55 dollars to get the 5300's?

Get the Logitech X-530 instead.

I am not american, so i can't buy from newegg. These are my only 2 options for 5.1 speakers.

So the X-530s are not available in Canada yet? They are a nice balance of price and performance; much better than the Z-640s.

They probibly are, but these 2 sets i can do a pricematch and then a mail in rebate. That is why they they are my only options. The 5300's usually retail for 299.99 🙁 .

Then I'd get the Z-5300s in a heatbeat. They are leagues better than the older Z-640s.

Try searching for the X530's first though. They sound to be where you get the most bang for your buck. I just bought a set to replace my old 5.1's..... the x530's lack the hiss some speakers emit. They're pretty sweet.
