How long is the speaker wire to the front / rear speakers? Can it be replaced using regualar speaker wire, or does it come with regular speaker wire?

Thanks for any ideas you have. I want to hook up the rears on my ceiling, which would mean I need at least 15' or speaker wire.

You can use any kind of speaker wire with them. I have a set and when I upacked them I didn't even consider using the wire they provided. It was very very thin. Just pick up some good stuff at Home Depot.

Cool....I have some excellent speaker wire already. I just wasn't sure if they came "pre-wired" like cheaper speakers do.

Thanks!!

Z560s use speaker wire and terminals. Z540s and Z340s use round audio cables with RCA phono plugs molded on one end and a permanant connection on the speaker end. I'd guess the front wires are 6 feet and the rear 20 feet, running to the bass box. It is a little more complicated for one speaker which also contains the on/off switch, an MD3 switch, volume control, and fader, and so has complex cable and connector.
