logitech x530 + realtek '97

hi,

i have the following hardware. i'm hoping someone might have an idea how to fix this...

asus a8n-e (onboard realtek '97 sound chip)
logitech x530 5.1 speaker system

i have the green, orange, and black inputs plugged into the sound outputs on the back of the board. but when i do the self test, the rear speakers don't work. no signal...

any help would be appreciated! 🙂

well, there you have it...it seems that the color combo specified by logitech does not match that of the asus board.

asus
green - front speaker out
orange - center/sub speaker out
grey - rear speaker out

logitech
green - front speaker out
orange - center/sub speaker out
black - rear speaker out

oh well...now it works...
