Logitech X-530 center channel doesn't work

Weird, so, I'm using my roomates speakers while he's gone and I've noticed ths center speakers don't work.

in the audigy speaker test, it works. all channels, but when im using winamp or MPC, it doesn't. it's only 4.1

I had the Z-640s, which is basically the same thing, just older.

Theres was a button on the contoller called.... i think it was called "matrix". Basically when you activiated the "matrix" function, it combined the front two speakers into the center channel. I'm not sure if your speakers have a similiar function. I would think so, considering they are the big brother of what I used to have.

This one doesn't have the matrix button, one of my older logitech does though.

weirdest thing is it works in games.

yeah man, my klipsch 5.1's dont seem to use the center channel of my audigy 2 while im listening to music either...

Try this on winamp.

Go to options->preferences-> output ->Directsound -> Configure -> Select your sound card -> enable allow hardware acceleration -> Apply-> Ok ->Close and then reopen winamp. Also make sure CMSS isn't enabled.

It should work.

hardware acceleration was already enabled.

I know it cant be the audigy because my older logitech works perfectly (5.1)

Did you make sure CMSS is disabled? Install the latest drivers?
