I just got this for christmas and it installed fine. I have mulitple operating system on my computer and when the computer starts to boot up. the keyboard won't work until winxp loads up. Is there any way to get the keyboard to work at load up so that i can pick which operating system to use and to f8

I'm assuming you have Win98SE as your other OS and using USB so check to see if you have USB Keyboard or DOS enabled in the BIOS and load the USB drivers in WIN98SE. If you are using USB there are probably adapters to the PS2 ports for the keyboard as well.

you're right. i am using win 98 with the usb keyboard. win 98 already has usb enabled. I will check to see if dos is enabled in the bios. but what will that do?

And is the only way to do this is to go back to ps2?

Thanks for your help
