Logitech K400
$34.99
-$5 promo code EMCNBJD35, ends 8/22

I have both this and the diNovo Edge, and I actually like this better.

Nice find. I love this thing for my HTPC (and my laptop when using it as a second HTPC). It's not great for word processing, but it's perfect for my purposes, in a nice form factor with a built-in trackpad. And it will sync with any Logitech nano receiver. Bought it for $40 at launch and it was worth every penny.

I actually really like that trackpad. It supports multitouch (two finger scrolling) as soon as it is plugged in and turned on, with no drivers needed (with Win7 at least) plus it has a duplicate left mouse button above the ESC key, so you can use the trackpad with your right thumb and left click with your left thumb.

Nice! I never noticed that. I've always used a Logitech mouse with this keyboard for mouse-intensive stuff, but this little nugget may have obviated the mouse. Then again, since you can have multiple devices on a single nano receiver, I'll probably just leave both connected...

Picked up one to replace my bluetooth keyboard. Hopefully this won't suffer from the same "lag" that all my bluetooth keyboards and mice have had.

I have this one and paid $25 at Walmart a month ago I think. Great keyboard for an HTPC.

It shouldn't. Logitech's nano receivers use 2.4GHz wireless. I've never had any lag issues using several different nano devices.

Also, fwiw, coupon expires tonight (still a good product without the $5 coupon imo).

That's awesome...but did it just bypass the redirector? Looked like it did?

Whoops! Guess it does. Of course they could always fix the redirector to recognize that URL. In the meantime I think the "normal" clean link would be something like:

www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN#

Where ASIN# in this case is B005DKZTMG. So...

www.amazon.com/dp/B005DKZTMG

Hey look, the AnandTech redirector now works!

URL hacking for fun and profit!

What is the real range on these things? I'm thinking about one for the HTPC, but I've had a heck of a time getting previous ones to work at a decent range. Will it work at 15 feet with nothing obstructing?

Definitely. It's a Logitech nano receiver, not IR.

I have the Logitech K700 for my HTPC and sit about 15 feet back from the computer/projector screen, never has any issues.

I jumped on one of these to go with the Shuttle barebones that I bought last week... I'm hopeful that there won't be any issues with it, because it's ideal for the HTPC/living room web browser application that I have planned for the Shuttle. Cheers!

Got one from Amazon for 35 bucks (prime member so free 2 day shipping). I've been looking for a wireless KB/mouse for my HTPC/NES PC when I don't feel like using the NES controller.. this looks like it'll do nicely.

This is great for HTPC usage and actually quite slick to pair with an android tablet (with a USB OTG cable of course) for enhancing light office use. I really love mine, but the key placement is a little wonky in spots (I always end up hitting the up arrow when I want shift). Excellent range and battery life, not to mention much better tactile feel than expected. At this price I may buy another a backup.
