Logitech wireless keyboard questions

I just ordered a Logitech MX1000 Wireless Mouse. I now need a keyboard. All of the Logitech wireless keyboards are packaged with a wireless mouse.

* Does Logitech sell a wireless keyboard alone? If yes, can I use it with the MX1000?

* If not, can I buy a different keyboard/mouse package and use the wireless keyboard with the wireless receiver for the MX1000?

Recommend you contact the vendor and return your Mouse. Then have them ship you the combo. I recently got a new PC with XP PRo SP2. My old PC had WIN 2k. I was suprised when I installed the Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard: No CD needed for the drivers as SP2 addded a ton of new drivers.

I agree with Ed. I just got the Mx700 combo, I don't think they sell the keyboards by them selves.
But, I will say the bluetooth keyboard/mouse they have looks nice, but costs more.:)

If you just want one of the newer logitech ones and don't care if it's an exact match, Amazon.com has this keyboard / mouse set (LX 300) for $30 after rebate. At that price, you can just not use the mouse and still have it be a pretty good deal for just the keyboard. It's not the same one that would come with the 3100 set, but it's looks are similar. I'm not sure if both would work on a single receiver station thing, but they might.
