Hi there, I just wanna know if this mouse don't BUG when you do fast movements, like the old Opticals. That's IT... =]

It's good for games like Quake 3 and CS?

Bye bye!

I have one of these mice.

The first one I got was buggy. Erratic diagonal movement. I promptly returned it for replacement, and it has worked well since.

It doesn't seem to 'BUG'. It works just like a regular ball mouse from what I can tell. As far as those two games are concerned, I can't verify, but it works wonderfully with Jedi Knight 2 and Warcraft 3 :)

I have a Dual Optical. The bug has been pretty much fixed with the addition of the second optical sensor...since it now has two points of reference. It doesn't get confused as often as the single sensor mice do (in my experience that is)

I need more info from more people. =]

But since the mouse is cheap even here in Brazil, I would buy one just to test it. hehe

Even so, more info is always welcome! PLEASE =]

i have the logitech mouseman Wheel optical. the old one with only one optical sensor. it has a great shape, extremely comfortable to use, very reliable, and i can play counter strike with it without any problems. if you are a precision and speed freak however, go with the dual optical. those are perfect.

Why get a Logitech Dual Optical? The Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 is much better mouse, I haven't had any erractic movements, and costs less. You can find one online for under $30 (OEM).

That is subjective, depending on the person and the review,Logitech Dual optical review against Microsoft Explorer V3 quote below,

Mouseman Dual Optical - 5.0/5.0 Editor's Choice !

To tell you the truth, folks, this is simply the MOST PRECISE mouse I have ever used. Under Windows XP and a USB connection, it is incredibly smooth and accurate. One of the nice things I like about Logitech's mice is their power down capability. When not in use, they power down the sensor immediately. When touched, the mouse responds by lighting up brightly, and quickly. Microsoft cannot beat that.

Lowdown
-GAMERS: Get the Logitech Dual Optical for accurate gaming
-Everybody else: Check out the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 for smooth mouse action

Just one review, however mice have to feel right in your hand and other factors like button positions and reliability etc.So best mouse for one person may not be the best mouse for somebody else.
