Logitech USB Headset Stopped Working

Last week my computer was making the notification noise as if something was being plugged and unplugged from the USB port constantly (very erratically). It said the device driver could not be supported and will be disabled. I restarted my PC to find that the noise stopped.

To make a long story short, I tried using my headset in Vent today and it doesn't seem to work anymore. I checked around in the device manager and I cannot seem to find it even being recognized.

Does anyone know how I would go about attempting to re-install this device (if that would help) or if I just need to hop over to Best Buy/Office Max and pick up a new one? If I require a new headset, can someone recommend one?
 
So the noise just sounded again twice and my headset magically works again...

What the hell is going on? This has to be a problem with my headset considering I unplugged my mouse and used that port for my headset and it still would not work until just now (replugged it back into to the front ports).
