Logitech Trackman Marble+, cleaning maybe?

My trackball is getting real slow even though teh acceleration and speed are maxed. It's a couple years old but I really do like it and I don't really have the money for a new one. I normally blow inside it but this gungy stuff always builds up around those three little dot things and I don't like rub dirt in it or anything... I guess it's the little clear thing that senses stuff but I try to wipe that off a little but I don't know if theres a better way to clean it cause it's just getting sticky and slow...

Alot of the workers have these at my job, I pop out the ball and use a q-tip and alcohol to clean off the optical sensors (Black window looking things)
You also want to clean off the metal ball glides at the three points (Where the ball rests on) with a pencil eraser first then clean it with alcohol and a q-tip.

I am using one also. What I do to clean it is usually I just open it and clean the ball and the sensor. I know what you mean by slow, I have had the same problem also. If you clean it like the way I told you then it will be fast again. I haven't cleaned mine for a while so I think it's about time 🙂
