I think if you're used to nicer speakers, the klipsch would be a better option. I've heard the klipsch but not the logitechs. I'm sure with your knowledge of hometheater you know the advantages of a midrange/tweeter satellite vs. a fullrange driver that the logitechs use.
I think if your room isn't huge, either will go a very good job of filling it.
I think the advertised power of both systems is 200watts RMS.
By the way, have you looked at
swan speakers?
If you're used to nicer speakers, these may be more what you're looking for. I know your goal was a lot of bass though.... so this probably isn't up your alley. On the other hand, if you wanted to add that dayton sub to this set, you'd have a really nice 2.1 set...
What's your budget again?
Maybe if you're thinking about the future upgradability it might be cool to get the swans for now and get the dayton for your own HT set, then later on when you get an SVS/HSU/whatever for your HT you can move the dayton to bedroom duty? (just a thought)
