I'm on a new Vista x64 system using the MX3200 kb+mouse set. It's the MX600 mouse. SetPoint is the newest version (4.24) for Vista x64. I have Game Detection enabled, Apply Game Settings.. enabled, and then the only thing below that I have enabled is keep right/left hand..
Yet, when I play a game (Stalker/Bioshock/Crysis) all the function buttons like zoom and search keep their Windows function. In addition, the thumb buttons aren't even being detected by the games. It's absolutely killing me not to be able to bind mouse3/4/5 (wheel/thumb 1/thumb 2) in games.
Anyone else having problems with SetPoint in Vista?
<edit>
Yes, I do realize I can go into SetPoint and set each button to "Generic Button" and then use them fine in the game - but then they lose their Windows functionality until I set them back. I really don't want to have to do this each time I play a game. There's gotta be an easier way, no? Isn't that the whole point in the game detection menu? The buttons lose their windows functionality and revert back to generic buttons?
