I love Logitech products, but their Quality Control is pretty awful. I've had to replace my G7 once, and my xbox 360 harmony remote as well (the text on the lcd screen became unreadable). And when I received my remote replacement, that eventually developed the same issue. Since I like the harmony remote, I went with the 880, but now the charging cradle won't charge the remote unless i mess around with it. Pretty frustrating because they do make great products, but they don't last for shit.

Now we're talking H:QT Deal!

Got a site for that?

LINK, NOW!

I had an old Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse (one of those silly sky blue ones) that I got on sale a while back. It stopped working, I called MS up, they asked for the serial number off the bottom and they sent me a new one no questions asked.

My MX1000 died a bit back and they sent me a Rev MX as well. I was upset when on the phone on my original call cause they longer offered the MX 1000 separately anymore and was only in a combo.

I hated the Rev MX and just keep in the closet as an emergency backup mouse now. I'm using a G7 and it's ok, but it likes to randomly just lose connection and I have to unplug and replug the USB receiver back in so it starts working again. Thinking of picking up a G5 possibly

I had that problem for a short while with my G7. Have you installed the latest setpoint drivers? I don't have the issue anymore.

No I haven't in the last 2 months or so, I'll give that a try, thanks!

FUCK LOGITECH! They suck.

I sent them a support request on 11/28 - they promised I would hear from someone within 24 hours. I sent another update on 12/6.

Still nothing.

I looked up the hours for support:

Hours for Harmony Support:
Saturday - Sunday: 10am - 5:30pm EST

I called this morning:

"The Harmony warranty and repair department is now closed. Please leave a message or call back during normal business hours....."

SUCK!

As a few others have commented, I am still in love with my mx700. However, the batteries have gone to hell, especially in the past 3 months (I got it in April 2003 and have never replaced the batteries, so this isn't really surprising). I'm gonna call Logitech tomorrow and see if they can send me a new pair.

They are only NIMH AA batteries.

Just replace them yourself.
