I just got this, charged it up, followed the connection directions, but it won't work. The base LED continues to blink green even though it's supposed to turn solid, then off. The mouse doesn't work. It's plugged in and I moved it as for from other devices as possible. Anyone else have the problem or any advice? I contacted support - no reply yet.

Have you tried different batteries in the mouse? It may sound silly, but are the batteries oriented correctly within the mouse? Also, did you press the CONNECT button on the underside of the mouse?

I haven't had any problems with my MX700 and I have the base station ON TOP of my monitor!

It charges correctly (the mouse's light blinks green until it's done, then goes solid, then out) so I know the batteries are in correctly. I pressed the base's connect button, then the one under the mouse, but the base's LED continues to flash - it's supposed to go solid, right?

The light on the base is supposed to turn off after you are prompted to press the CONNECT button on the bottom of the mouse.

By "prompted" do you mean the green light on the base flashes? That's what happens when I press the base's button. I wish support would hurry up and reply, this is irritating.

As soon as I press the connect button on the base, the green light on the base turns on and a dialog box appears in Windows prompting me to press the connect button on the underside of the mouse. As soon as I do another dialog box reports whatever channel the base and mouse are communicating on and as soon as I press the OK button the light on the base turns off and the dialog box goes away - there is no flashing at all.

I don't get anything like that - what version of Mouseware do you have and do you have any other mouse-related programs installed?

I'm sending it back today for a replacement, hopefully that one works. Thanks for you help though.
