logitech MX700 blinking red on charger??

i have an mx700 mouse, and has been workign fine for me about a year.

however, just recently, every time i put the mouse on the charger, the light on the mouse starts blinking red. when i take the mouse off teh charger, it stops blinking...anyone have this experience before?

Sounds like maybe your rechargeables are dying? The only time I've ever seen mine blink red was when the batteries were almost dead.

hmm...well i've been using it ok for a couple days now. it never blinks while i'm using it, but only when i put it on the base. usually the light turns green when i put it on the base, but now it never does...just flahses red.

i guess i'll try using it till it's completely drained, and then see what happens.

Just ordered an MX1000 directly from Logitech- they say the lithium battery never needs to be replaced. I'm really excited about the laser. Should do great in my games.

Where did you get the MX1000 from and how much?

Your mouse might not be sitting correctly in the charger, try fidgeting with it.
