Logitech MX700 220V?

Hey all,

I was just wondering. Does anyone know if the Logitech MX700 mouse is charged by an adapter or USB? Is it compatible with 220V?

Can someone check theirs out for me? Normally it will say 110-230V on it if it is, or have the CE logo on it. I'm thinking about ordering one, but I don't want to have to run it off a transformer.

Any help is apreciated.

It charges through the adapter. I dont believe it has a 110-230v button on the adapter however when i go home i`ll take a look and post here.

If you are in a europe or wherever they require 220v im sure Logitech has european versions of the mouse too for those markets.

MX700 is the best damned mouse out there.

Yeah, its charged through a mains adaptor. The one I bought (in the UK) came with a uk moulded plug setup. No voltage select button on the adaptor so you couldn't just use a plug adaptor.

edit If you do get one (and I really recommend it) then think about getting the MX cordless duo, with the keyboard as well.

The thing is, I will only be here for a couple of years, and want to be able to use my stuff back in the states. Besides, I can order from the U.S. Cheaper than I can buy here since I have a U.S. shipping address.

As for the Duo... I'm partial to ergonomic keyboards. I don't think that the duo comes with one does it?

Thanks again for any help.

The adapter is for recharging the batteries. You could get a seperate battery rechager then your don't need the adapter.

I think that might kind of defeat the purpose. 🙂

I checked around here, and the MX700 runs between 80 and 90 Euro! So over $100 U.S. Maybe I will run it off a transformer after all.
