Logitech MX518 question

The description says this mouse changes resolution on the fly, which button does that? Are the 2 buttons just to the front and back of the scroll wheel scrolling buttons or for changing the resolution? Can those buttons be reassigned to scroll if they are not already set for that?

Thanks,
BGC

The ones at the front and back of the scroll wheel are scrolling buttons. Check the manual for where the res buttons are.

Are they? I thought they were scrolling buttons... that's where the scrolling buttons are on the 510.

OF course they are. I own one.
Can the mx510 change resolution on the fly? No. Thats what the buttons are for on the 518.

The software might allow users to configure them as scrolling buttons but I never bothered to installed it.
