Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse

I just picked this mouse up, installed the newest setpoint drivers from Logitech and fired it up in BF2...

Nothing seemed to work, I left everything at default. I accidently hit document switch button while in the game and that is what actually speeds up the mouse,

and

the mouse (increase sensitivity) button decreases the DPI...

When in windows everything seems to work appropriately...

Is this a case of SH!T drivers? I am at a loss as to what can be done...I am assuming that since it works in Windows XP, that the mouse isn't broken...

Any recommendations are appreciated.

must have hosed up during install, I re-installed it again and it prompted me to change some windows files. I did and it now works...

Flip side is that now the computer beeps when it is rebooted and takes like 3 minutes to boot up...GOD...I love mouse drivers
