ZipZoomFly has this combo for $99.99 shipped 2nd day with $35 MIR. I was looking for a MX5000 til I saw the bad reviews, but this one has great reviews and a much better price.

The MX1000 is the worse mouse I have ever had. However the price is awesome, and Logitech has the best support I have ever seen. I upgraded to the diNovo Media Desktop for Bluetooth w/ MX 1000 Laser mouse, from the same version with the MX 900 mouse. The one with the MX 900 seemed to work a LOT better.

I was able to talk Logitech into upgrading to my mouse to the new G7, should be arriving very soon :)

"there is nothing wrong with the mx1000"
- The drivers have some issues that have not been updated, after calling Logitech, they told me they don't know how long until it will be updated. On top of that, the actual mouse is HUGE. Anyone with a medium/smaller than normal hand will have a lot of trouble with the mouse.

"best wireless I have use"
- Based on what other ones? I would rather use a $10 corded mouse than the MX 1000 :/

I've used the MX900, G5, 518, 510, and then a few Microsoft ones that were very bad (yet still expensive). The MX 900 has been the best mouse I have used, other than the G7.

For $65, that is an awesome deal if you are looking for the MX1000 mouse. The keyboard that comes with it has a very slick feel.

I do not agree with you

I have owned numerous wireless mouses...not the mx900 or G%/G7

But I find no issues with the mx1000 except the scroll wheel felt Lose vs my old mx700..yes it is larger but I find to be an excellent mouse

what issues are present that need to be fixed with a driver update?

You couldn't have mentioned that yesterday, before I ordered...:(
