Logitech MX1000 Smart desktop (Keyboard/mouse) problem.

Hey guys,

I know not many of you guys may have this keyboard, but I need to ask you guys a few questions sine I"m having 2 problems with it:

1. When I moving my mouse, under high internet or hard drive use, the mouse starts to lag a bit, happens in FarCry lots of times now. What's going on ?
2. My back/forward thumb buttons are not usable when I boot into a game, but they work fine for back/forth when I'm browsing webpages, what settings do I change in the program (setpoint). I've tried enabling game detection and applying stetings but none of them really seem to fit my problem.

Also, when I disable setpoint, It allows me to use the back forward buttons in game, but I like to have it open so I can hit the media touch buttons and control itunes without minimizing...
 
You can assign one of a bunch of things to any button. You can make that assignment stick in games, or map the button in the game controls. You could also hit the Help button.
 
I tried all this stuff man. I've tried mapping in CS with setpoint on PERIOD, And it will not map the mouse 4 or 5 buttons, it irritates me.
ALso I got massive mouse lag when there are heavy landscapes like in farcry where you have to clear out a whole bunker!
