Logitech MX1000 for $64.99 @ Amazon

Just wanted to give the heads up that the Logitech MX1000 is now $64.99. This is the lowest price yet on Amazon or any website for that matter, NewEgg, Monarch, ZipZoomFly, BestBuy, CompUSA, etc....This is a very good mouse, arguably the first cordless mouse to be equaled to that of a wired mouse, and I'm sure many of you have been waiting for a price break. Though it's only $5 less from the average price, it's still some money in your wallet.

Here's the link.

check carefully
its tigerdirect

i cant friggin believe amazon is using tiger as one of their partner vendors

amazon still says 69.98. get it from amazon. i am getting it... from amazon

it's funny how the very same link i have bookmarked for this mouse was changed to redirect to TigerDirect and the buy-from-amazon was changed to a new link. Looks like they are using TigerDirect as a partner vendor because they are out of stock and trying to milk in some extra cash before they get restocked. Well, Amazon still backs the sale, Safe Buying Guarantee, and though TigerDirect may have a notorious name, the circumstances seem to leaning on a positive side unless you're just absolutely Anti-TD.

Actually after I bought mine for 66.99 it dropped a couple of bucks to 64.49 or something. Just a few bucks but I felt ripped :

Loving it though but too bad the tilt wheel isn't bindable yet which is a real boon. It would have been wicked for games but I'm loving that new enter button between the forward/back.

Mmmm I'm dying for a new mouse...using an old intellimouse explorer 3.0a thats gotten over 4 years of heavy usage. Paint is worn off on the back and the double click problem is there. Tempted but at the same time that guy's negative review (it lags when you lift it up and put it back down) is putting me off some. Wish I could test drive it

It really isn't as bad as it is made out to be. Sure there is a delay but a very slight one, almost like it isn't there. Imagine it as if you put your ball mouse back on the desk. That is when the movement starts back up instantly.

Edit: In matter of fact I can't even notice it honestly. Maybe other people will beg to differ but I've played games fine with picking up my mouse in games.

Anyone heard if they'll make one of these for lefties? I hate being a gamer and having to get the old school mouse everytime.

When's the corded version come out? or at least a light weight one... this sucker is heavier then any other mouse out there...

That's the big question everyone is asking and I don't think Logitech has said anything. They probably won't release one in a while as to milk as much money as they can from a wired version.

How many times do you actually lift your mouse up when playing games, unless you have some rinky dinky mouse pad surface, u are noob.. High Sensitivity == Less Mouse Movement!! =D

mmm. this is even weirder now... As you now, as I was saying in my first post.. the link originally directed to amazon, and then it changed to TD amazingly somehow.. the link is now redirected back to the Amazon vendor rather than the TigerDirect vendor.. /me thinks the Amazon employees are watchin this thread and realize that I have caught up to their TD scandal of the customers not realizing TD was supplying the next shipment of MX1000's... Something's fishy with Amazon...

I got mine @ Best Buy for $58 + tax with my employee discount. And I don't regret spending the money at all.. This is hands down these best mouse out there, nothing is topping this thing.

i heard gaming with this mouse = not so good

I use it for gaming. Not that I'm Fatal1ty or anything, but I haven't had a problem yet.

agree i use it for Doom3, FarCry, Sims2, and LSL... so far I have had no real problems. I think its just as responsive as my mx510. I have not had that log problem when the mouse is lifted and placed back on the mat, the mx1000 begins tracking instantly...
