I got the MX1000 when another mouse stopped working and found that for some reason it didn't want to report those buttons properly - anyone have any ideas? I updated to the latest drivers, but no luck.
I got the button problem fixed by replacing the Logitech function with "generic button"...
I read a lot on this board about the reponse time and watched the persons videos... I have the problems as well with the mouse. I am not sure that it will affect my gaming as I don't pick the mouse up that much, but I am having issues using this mouse in comparison to my MS Intellimouse 4.0.
I have the Logitech MX500 at work and have used the MX510 and didn't like either of those for gaming either due to how they felt. The MX1000 has some potential but I fear I may need an adjustment period to get used to it...
Kind of like how we had to adjust from using ball mice as there were things that ball mice could do that optical mice can't...
The mouse is more accurate when I am not having any issues...
