Logitech MX Revolution acting weirdly

Hello there

I got this Logitech MX Revolution mouse about a couple months ago and it has started to act funnily. The cursor just simply freezes for a instant time to time. There really is no patternt to this behaviour, sometimes there is more of it and then again sometimes it works fine.

I have tryed bit everything, change Wlan radio channel, change USB connector, tryed different surfaces for the mouse, installed latest setpoint software over again but nothing seems to be curing this issue. I also checked that there are no IRQ conflicts or something like that in device manager.

Could a Wlan network interfer with MX revolution? To my recollection I had this issue before I even installed Wlan to my appartment, so I kinda doubt this one but I must ask. Or might my mouse just be broken? :/

Yes I actually tried multiple different reciever locations, different usb ports etc. Installed setpoint all over again etc, but nothing seemed to help. Suprisingly after I dropped my CPU overclock from 2.8g -> 2.7g all my mouse problems seem to have vanished.

Iam pretty amazed myself how an overclocking of CPU can affect cordless mouse this way. With 2.8g CPU overclock my system was 100% stable in all usage, the only glitch was the random freezing of mouse pointer. Well now with 2.7g CPU speed everything seems to be working fine. 🙂
