So far I've heard hit and misses with this refurbished combo. I ordered from Overstock.com and had problems where the keys on my keyboard weren't working right. I contacted Overstock and they said many of the refurbished combos have problems and they had to do a refund.

Got mine in the mail today. Keyboard was actually brand new, and the reciever and mouse work perfectly as well. Great deal for $33 + tax shipped to my door.

Looks like it's rechargeable batteries for the mouse MX700 are NOT included. Still an awesome deal. I'm gonna jump on this one since I missed out on the overstock.com deal. Hopefully mine will be in good condition as lordbob99's.

BTW: Logitech no longer produces these because the charger is faulty. After about a year it will be very difficult to sit the mouse in the charger.

I called Logitech on it and they are sending me an LX700 combo as a replacement.

They list the batteries as not included, but mine did in fact come with the batteries, as many others have reported on these 'refurb' units.

I've actually had some personal experience with that with a set I bought for someone a wh ile ago. It won't be a problem for me personally since I plan on using my stand alone charger. I actually haven't even tried it yet since I don't want to use it.

Good luck to those of you ordering on getting a good set :)

That I don't understand, does the charger shrink or does the mouse grow? I have had mine for about 8 months with no fitting problems. I will be sure to put my mouse in a diet.
